SENATOR AHMAD ABBDUL HAMID EULOGIZED FOR TRAINING AND EMPOWERING WOMEN IN JIGAWA NORTHEAST

By Ahmed Ilallah

Women play a critical role in the social and economic advancement of society, particularly in rural areas. Encouraging a woman equals empowering the entire family.

Gaining economic empowerment for women through job opportunities, education, and training can boost economic growth and productivity. Women can improve the well-being of their families and the economy as a whole when they are financially independent.

Developing a plan to reduce poverty and boost local economies makes sense for political leaders. These will do more than just lessen the citizens’ present suffering. The beneficiaries will have hope from these that they will be a respectable member of society.

The senator representing the zone was praised by women from Jigawa Northeast for his persistent efforts to address the social and economic concerns of the region’s women and youth, including by providing palliative care and startup capital for businesses.

One of the issues contributing to the rising rate of poverty in Jigawa and the nation as a whole is the lack of economic inclusivity, particularly for women and local residents.
For society to advance, political leaders must invest heavily in human capital. This kind of action is unprecedented, and the zone is currently seeing these advancements brought about by an elected senator.

However, the senator has previously made similar gestures of educating and training members of his zone for various occupations, rather than just giving them more power.

In the Jigawa Northeast Senatorial Zone, the senator is currently sponsoring the training and entrepreneurial education of forty (40) women. The training focuses on women-based trading activities in various occupations that are essential and sustainable to the lives of their community.

The recipients express their gratitude to Senator Ahmad Abdul Hamid for his commitment to providing seed capital and skills training, and they urge other political leaders to follow suit.

It is widely acknowledged that women contribute a variety of viewpoints, ideas, and skills to society when they are granted the freedom to fully participate in it. Diversity encourages creativity and innovation, which improves problem-solving and decision-making.
