The sixth edition of the Governor Uba Sani “Peace and Unity” Football Tournament, organized by Honourable Barrister Ibrahim Bello Rigachikun, Special Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, has concluded with an exciting finale.
The final match, held at Malam Jalo Primary School in Rigachikun, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna, saw Amana FC Rigachikun emerge victorious over Maraban Jos Academy to lift the coveted trophy.
In an interview with journalists at the conclusion of the tournament, Honourable Barrister Ibrahim Bello Rigachikun, the sponsor of the event, explained that the tournament was aimed at promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of surrounding communities. He also emphasized that the competition aligns with Governor Uba Sani’s vision of fostering unity, progress, and peace throughout Kaduna State.
