The 20th Annual Seminar And Moral Training Of Association Of Nigerian Muslims (ASNIM) Ended In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Government says it will continue to prioritize boosting education as the foundation of rapid socio-economic growth.

The Director General of the Bureau of Interfaith, Kaduna State, Barrister Tahir Umar Tahir, stated this at the Association of Nigerian Muslims’ 20th Annual Seminar and Moral Training Program, themed “Good Governance: The Panacea for Peace and Development,” held in Kaduna.

Barrister Tahir Umar Tahir said that to achieve this, the government has earmarked twenty-five percent of the 2026 budget for education.

He said the Bureau would continue to support any religious organizations working to support the government in providing moral training and education.

Speaking, renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi emphasized the need for Muslims to practice their religion as enacted, without being misled, and commended the Association for the training.

Speaking, the Madakin Zazzau, Alhaji Mannir Jafaru, represented by Maradin Zazzau Dr. Haruna Muhammad Jumare, thanked the Association for organizing such training for students.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Muslims (ASNNIM), Sheikh Adam Idris Malamawa, said the organization organizes such training yearly among students to ensure the inculcation of moral values, unity, and educational programs to improve education and Da’awa programs, among others.

He appealed to the appropriate authorities and well-meaning individuals to support the activities of the organization.

During the event, students from across the nation attended the four-day program, and gifts were presented to winners after the training. Among the notable dignitaries who attended the event were government functionaries, Islamic scholars, politicians, traditional rulers, and others.
