Kaduna — A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim, has lauded the ongoing electronic registration exercise of the party in Kaduna State, describing it as a massive success that reflects growing public confidence in the APC.
Dr. Bashir disclosed that within just one week of the commencement of the e-registration exercise, over 100,000 new members have been successfully registered across the state.
According to him, the unprecedented turnout underscores the renewed enthusiasm and trust of Kaduna residents in the ruling party.
Speaking to journalists at the state party secretariat in Kaduna , the APC stalwart said the seamless digital registration process has made it easier for citizens to join the party, adding that people from different political backgrounds are now trooping into the APC in large numbers.
Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim expressed optimism that the growing membership strength and developmental achievements would further consolidate APC’s dominance in Kaduna State, while urging residents to continue supporting the government’s agenda for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
Dr. Bashir Garba who is also the Director-General of the Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) said “The e-registration exercise has been remarkably smooth and transparent. In less than one week, we have recorded over 100,000 registrations, and the number keeps growing daily. This clearly shows that people believe in the vision and leadership of the APC in Kaduna State,”
He attributed the surge in membership to the people-oriented policies and developmental strides of Governor Uba Sani, noting that governance anchored on inclusiveness, accountability and infrastructure development has endeared the party to the masses.
He also praised Governor Uba Sani for what he described as the “visible and impactful physical transformation” across the state.
He noted that the governor’s commitment to urban renewal, infrastructure development and land administration reforms has significantly improved the outlook of Kaduna,
“The physical transformation we are witnessing today in Kaduna State is a direct result of Governor Uba Sani’s focused leadership. The administration has improved land management, boosted investor confidence and ensured sustainable urban development,” he said.
He added that the ongoing reforms have not only enhanced service delivery but have also contributed to the rising popularity of the APC in the state, as citizens increasingly associate development projects with the party’s governance philosophy.
